Donald Van de Mark
Vice President & Editorial Director MyPrimeTime, Inc.

From 1995 to July 1999, Van de Mark served as anchor of Moneyweek on CNN, Street Sweep, Biz Buzz and Entrepreneurs Only on CNNfn. He also played a key role in creating these shows as well as The Media Show and Washington Unwrapped. During his time as a correspondent, Van de Mark broke the Aug. 31, 1998, story about the near collapse of the Long Term Capital Management hedge fund. Prior to this, he spent over 10 years as a business and political news reporter in Washington, D.C.

Linda O'Bryon
Senior Vice President General Manager Nightly Business Report

Linda O'Bryon is the founding executive editor of Nightly Business Report, television's No. 1 daily business news program. O'Bryon sets the editorial policy and oversees national newsgathering operations for NBR. Her pioneering work in the creation and development of Nightly Business Report has earned her the distinction of being named as one of the century's top 100 business news luminaries by TJFR Group, an industry publication. O'Bryon joined Miami-based WPBT as a producer/reporter in 1976 and later that year became the first woman TV news director in South Florida.

MyPrimeTime Inc. and Nightly Business Report are co-producing Great Entrepreneurs, a nationally distributed Public Television series that pairs the innovative movers of yesterday with the greatest entrepreneurs of today.

Making its debut in January 2001, this series sets the achievements of groundbreaking innovators such as Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Walt Disney and Coco Chanel against modern-day moguls such as Bill Gates, George Lucas, Richard Branson and Martha Stewart. Each show profiles two entrepreneurs, one modern day and one from the past. A panel of experts then discusses the featured personalities in a round-table discussion hosted by Linda O'Bryon of Nightly Business Report and Donald Van de Mark of MyPrimeTime, Inc.

Already over 120 PBS stations plan to air the weekly half hour series. Before the first show aired, stations committing to the show hit a record 45% of the PBS households. This includes five of the top 10 markets and 10 of the top 20 markets such as:

  • Los Angeles
  • Chicago
  • Dallas
  • Detroit
  • Pittsburgh
  • Sacramento
  • Minneapolis
  • Seattle
  • Tampa
  • New York
  • San Francisco
